Free stuff!! Hey you guys, it's me Tim Erickson formerly of the Seattle scene band The Smoking Section! So if you visit the brand new official web site www.timerickson.band and join the mailing list, you get a free download of my cover of the Foo Fighters song "Stranger Things Have Happened" that I wrote a full band arrangement for, as my tribute to Taylor Hawkins who was one of my favorites from our generation, that I miss big time! It's on the "Not Alone" album, which is on the site, along with "Melody Crash" "Maybe It's Whatever?" and "Funky Shade Of Blue" by my Seattle band The Smoking Section, which we recorded at Robert Lang Studios in Seattle in Jan '97 where Nirvana, Foo Fighters, Alice In Chains, Candlebox, and so many other bands recorded classics. That album comes with digital cover art along with a bunch of pictures from our trip to Robert Lang's Studio, and pictures from photo shoots over the course of the nearly 10 year run my brother Sean and i had with The Smoking Section and it's early incarnations & it's last lineup in Seattle in '98
