A lot went into this album! It was my first album in forever that I got to go back and be the guitar player, and not have to cover vocals!
I've had to cover vocals on 4 straight albums, since haven't found a singer yet, when I'm a guitar player that does the main backup vocal harmonies in bands, I'm not a lead singer, very much a guitar player, so that energy from the freedom creatively, to write a really cool instrumental album, really took off!! I got to deep dive into playing my guitar, and I had these moments in the zone during the sessions!! That rush of getting fully back to guitar for me, as a guitar player, a musician & a writer, was an inspiring experience artistically!
When it comes to guitars, I can stand on my own, as good at what I do, as anyone around at what they do in rock guitar right now. Fun stuff to listen to, especially as an album, all in row, since the song order is a cool ride! Very Happy with this album from the opener... "Thrill Ride" to the closer... "Slow Motion Dreams" it's a musical roller coster ride, that was beyond fun to record!
